Communicating climate change
in Tunisia Egypt and Mauritania

This report, “Communicating Climate Change in Tunisia, Egypt and Mauritania,” captures two years of research led by Climate Outreach and regional partners, including Greenish in Egypt.

As Greenish, we proudly contributed to this project by designing and facilitating narrative workshops that engaged Egyptians from diverse backgrounds, farmers, youth, women, and fisherfolk to explore how climate change is understood, felt, and communicated in their daily lives.

The findings offer critical insights into the barriers, cultural values, and language that shape climate awareness in Egypt and the wider North African region. This work aligns with Greenish’s mission to center community voices and make climate discourse more inclusive, grounded, and actionable.
